The Linguaphone Group, the world’s leading provider of assisted learning and distance learning language training solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Master Franchisees: the Egyptian American Centre (EAC) as Master Franchisee for Egypt and Gökdil, part of the Time Education Group, as MasterFranchisee for Turkey.
Both appointments reinforce the success of the Linguaphone Group’s aggressive growth plan to expand its global network of English language training centres around the world.
Based in Alexandria, the Egyptian American Centre (EAC) was established in 1998 and quickly proved its presence within Egypt as one of the most prominent specialised centres for continuing education. It offers language studies in English, French, Italian, German and Arabic, as well as business studies, management studies and teacher training courses.
Founded in 1972, Gökdil is the fastest growing language school in Turkey. The company has 8 centres offering quality year-round English language training, including a range of General English courses, Business English, exam-based and specialised courses.
Managing Director of International ELT at the Linguaphone Group, Derek Price, said “we are delighted to welcome EAC and Gökdil to the Linguaphone Group’s network of licensed partners. Clear leaders in the language training marketplace in their respective countries, both companies are ideal partners to help us meet the growing demand for English language training in Egypt and Turkey.”
What attracted two such prestigious companies to the Linguaphone Group business opportunity are the synergies that exist between the parties.
Derek Price continues, “with a vision that parallels our own, complementary business strategies and a highly experienced management team, we are confident that these two business partnerships offer a perfect opportunity to market Direct English and Linguaphone through EAC’s and Gökdil ’s existing network of centres, as well as the opening of new centres through sub-licensing.”
EAC will launch Direct English in their existing centres in November 2006 with Gökdil launching in December 2006.
