Children to learn English with Pingu in Lithuania, thanks to new UK-Baltics franchise partnership

Children in Lithuania will soon be able to successfully learn English with the globally popular character Pingu, thanks to a Master Franchise deal announced today by the UK-based Linguaphone Group.

Pingu’s English is a three-level language course for 3-8 year olds. already transforming the way that children learn English and delivered by a network of Master Franchisees in twenty countries worldwide. Centered around the adventures of Pingu™ and his friends and family in the South Pole, Pingu’s English uses a wide variety of imaginative activities and multimedia resources to teach children to read, write, listen and speak confidently in the English language.

Prima Educatio Ltd have been appointed the exclusive Master Franchise for Pingu’s English in Lithuania. The company is a privately-held corporation owned by local entrepreneurs Mrs Sniezana Daubariene and Mr Vidas Daubaras. Both have experience of working across the private education and business sector, as well as expertise in implementing educational projects funded by the EU.

The company will launch Pingu’s English at the LITEXPO Babyland exhibition in Vilnius on the 6 – 8 December 2013. In the New Year, Pingu’s English Lithuania will open their doors to their flagship Pingu’s English School in a well-positioned city-center location of Vilnius. Children and parents will then have the opportunity to attend free demo Pingu’s English classes, as well as find out more about the children’s birthday party and seasonal one-week day camps services that will be on offer here.

As well as developing a strong presence in Vilnius, Pingu’s English Lithuania also plans to open a Pingu’s English School in Kaunas later next year. They will also work with investors and entrepreneurs to open their own Pingu’s English School in other parts of Lithuania.
